Did you know...?

...you can make your Mathematica programs run faster by using machine-precision numbers and avoiding procedural programming. Find out how to use these and other programming suggestions at http://library.wolfram.com/howtos/faster.

...you can globally set options to Plot for an entire Mathematica session and save those changes for use in future sessions. Visit http://support.wolfram.com/mathematica/kernel/Symbols/System/SetOptions.html for further information on using SetOptions.

...the AutoSave option can help prevent notebook losses by automatically saving a notebook each time an evaluation is completed. In the Option Inspector (located under the Format pull-down menu), set "Show option values for" to "notebook". Type "autosave" in the Lookup box. Click Lookup. NotebookAutoSave will be highlighted. Click the check-box and the Apply button, and the AutoSave option will be turned on. Visit http://documents.wolfram.com/v4/OtherInformation/OptionInspector.html for more on using the Option Inspector to set preferences.
